STEP 01
We begin with a thorough research and discovery phase to understand your business, brand architecture, and the larger market landscape.
STEP 02
We convene our team and yours in a strategy session to review our findings, collaborate on brand pillars and value propositions, and collectively craft messaging fundamentals. This strategy session is an excellent opportunity to align your team and ensure consensus among business leaders.
STEP 03
Over the next few weeks, we explore audience personas, establish key messages for multiple marketing channels, and build and refine a unique story that will shape a shared understanding of your brand.
STEP 04
If your product or company needs a name, we have a multi-step, facilitated naming process that we employ to identify key stakeholders, establish guard rails, generate names across a spectrum of name types, build consensus, and properly vet the contenders.

At the end of this phase, we provide a strategic manual that will help guide the micro and macro decisions you make for your company.

Drawing from the brand strategy and messaging, we extract key concepts and ideas that can be visually conveyed—distinctive talking points that become part of a visual language.
STEP 02
We present multiple logo directions, revising the leading concept based on feedback until a final identity is formed. Logos are always presented in context, including print and digital assets that showcase how the logo and related assets will function in the real world.
STEP 03
We continue to flesh out the visual identity with assets, colors, fonts and typography, graphics, image treatments, and layouts that work independently and together to tell a complete story, embody your ethos and values, and drive business strategy.
STEP 03
The design phase concludes with a comprehensive brand guidelines document that serves as a modular system of distinctive assets and provides use cases and style guardrails for the extension of your brand identity into the marketplace.
