The Brunswick Hotel in Maine, at the edge of Bowdoin College, is known for its stylish interiors and a phenomenal, on-site restaurant, Noble Kitchen + Bar, featuring innovative American dishes and cocktails. As the properties underwent an interior renovation, we got to work on refreshed branding, including a comprehensive visual identity, website, signage, and menu design.
The visual identity combines a craft feel with a distinctly coastal vibe. Drawing inspiration from the textures and tones of Maine’s rugged shoreline, we married bold typography with elegant details to reflect the restaurant’s approachable menu and elevated execution.

The palette is crisp and nautical without cliché, anchored by deep blues, warm neutrals, and soft accents. Custom illustrations, embossed logos, and tactile print treatments reinforce the sense of craft and care, while the new photography by John Bellenis captures the hospitality, quality, and character at the heart of the Noble experience.
